Here is a bad news for all the fan of Pirates of the Caribbean, it says the Disney’s upcoming movie Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales has been pilfered by the ransom hackers and in return, they are demanding a huge amount of money from the studio which should be paid in Bitcoin. The hackers are sure is giving a hard time to Disney and Johnny Depp (Well, Johnny Depp is a lead character Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales). And Disney doesn’t have any intention to even pay a single penny and currently working with the FBI against the hackers.
Disney didn’t give any comment, but according to the insider’s reports, company refuses to pay any amount. Before the Netflix had to face the same problem just like this one, at that time ransom hacker pilfered 10 episodes of the next season of Orange Is the New Black when Netflix also refuse to pay any amount.
Hector Monsegur told deadline, that, imposition is possibly the hardest issue; the FBI is dealing with here. Hector is a Director of Security Assessment at Rhino Security Lab as well a regular expert on the Science Channel series Outlaw Tech. Hector was also an ex-computer hacker, he was arrested and now became an FBI informant.
And for solving those kinds of problems FBI has no other option than track the attacks backward. FBI explained it’s nearly impossible to track them down, the problem is you have several hackers from all over the world, and that’s not all, they are also aware of all kinds of techniques to track them down back. So for tracking them, you have to hire the Egyptian hacker, who uses Russian software, so, it turns out the Russian but originally from the Egypt.
Well, just wish that they solved the problem as soon as possible and we have our long awaited movie Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales in the cinema so we can watch it.
