Wherever we go in the whole world everyone put their precious thing in the safe place or in the lock because of the thieves. But if you go to the Iraq book market you won’t found anything like that. In the Iraq book market, books are always left out on the street at night without any worries.THIEF
Well, I am a bookworm, so when I first heard about it, it makes me wonder why they do that, don’t they care about the books, and when I found out the answer it’s left me speechless. Iraqis believe that the reader does not steal and the thief does not read. And when I heard the reason I was surprised but shocked at the same time. Because it’s good that thief doesn’t touch the book but what about the street animal.
If I am there, by the evening I started to find the place where I can read comfortably among the street then choose the book (I know I’m going to spend all night for finding the best book) and spend all night while reading the book with enjoying the smell of books. Its make me dizzy because of happiness when I imagine that.
But when I think about it really hard I have fear for books. What if they tear apart because of some animal? It’s sure is the matter to be worried about and they aren’t even concerned about it. But contrary it’s a paradise for the bookworms. Because there are the books all over the place and they aren’t even locked into the self. They only locked the new publish to keep it safe.
If you go there you will find the book heaps supported by the wall. You will absolutely get the Iraqis feelings of that the reader does not steal and the thief does not read.
