And now, when we are at the story, then let me tell you, the movie’s story is based on the Indian writer novelist Chetan Bhagat’s novel “Half Girlfriend”. This is Bhagat’s 6th novel and released on the 1st October 2014 by Rupa Publication, and surprisingly catches the eyes of a director in just two years.

It’s true I won’t tell you anything about the movie “Half Girlfriend” but don’t worry, I will write about the “Half Girlfriend” Novel. It’s good to see the movie (you can get their video scenes, which look more real and it saves your mind from working hard to making the scene in your mind), but its best to read the book (it contain original stories and the scenes your mind create is the best scene in the whole world). In the end, I just want to tell you that the main topic of this blog is the novel “Half Girlfriend”.
Ah! I got carried away, now about the novel. I already told you about the writer and the publication, now let’s get to the story of the novel. The story took places in Bihar, New Delhi, Patna and New York; it’s a story about a Bihari boy and his quest of winning over the girl he loves. And the story started with Madhav Jha, Dumraon rural boy, Dumraon is a village in Buxar, Bihar. Madhav comes to meet the Chetan Bhagat, author of the novel. He left behind the few journals for the author, which belongs to his half-girlfriend, who he believes has died…
