If we talk about reality then it may be a horrible experience just to come in contact with a non-living thing (I am referring ghost) but it can be super fun to play a character in movie… yup, your guess is right, I am talking about Anushka Sharma’s second production Phillauri in which she is playing a role of a ghost bride. According to the rumors, she has really enjoyed her character and is excited regarding the movie. Furthermore, she said to the media that- It was super fun to play a non-living character because usually we play characters which are in the flesh and it’s really boring to act a living character in each film. You should just keep doing different things and I think I’ve represented the ghost community well
When the media asked her that what she enjoys the most in the movie, acting or production, she answered-
I really enjoy both and now I have realized that I perform better when I have so many responsibilities on me. Well, both of them are very different things to each other, for example when I am on the set I just do my job and act, just like that when I am producing a film I have to collaborate with all the production, right from the start of a film and both of them are going well for me.
It’s good that Anushka seems quite happy with the encouraging response from the industry and she made it clear when she said- when the audience and industry people say good things about Phillauri, I really feel so happy.
If we look at the movie storyline then it is a story which revolves around a young man who has come to Punjab to get married, but according to the local priest he have to get married to a tree first in order to combat the bad setting of his stars and he will. But unfortunately, the tree happens to be the home of Shashi’s (Anushka Sharma’s character) spirit. Incidentally, during the fulfilling the priest orders he gets married with the spirit and that’s not it the spirit also has a flashback of a love story between Shashi and her fiancé.
The movie was directed by Anshai Lal, it also features Diljit Dosanjh and releasing on March 24.
