India took the further steps towards turn the dream of Venus mission into reality and for that ISRO taking the initial to inviting the scientist from other countries with making a proposal for a new space-based experiments.
According to the ISRO, the Venus-bound satellite’s payload capability is anticipated to be around 175 kg with 500W of power. And the orbit will suppose to be 500 X 60,000km around Venus that will by degrees reduce over various months.
The main objectives that will be focused on the mission will be sun-Venus interaction, biology experiments, atmospheric and surface studies as well as technology demonstration too. An ISRO officer said– although it’s an approved mission but the date of launch is not decided yet. The Indian Venus mission has been already listed as the part of the department of space’s demand for grants.
Along with the explaining the importance of this mission, ISRO said- because of the similar size, density, Gravity, bulk composition and mass, Venus is assumed as the twin sister of the Earth. ISRO also stated that it’s said and believed, both planets came into existence at the same time around 4.5 billion years ago.
ISRO described the Venus exploration is started in the early 1960s with fly by, atmospheric probes and Lander mission.
ISRO reported that in the spite of the great progress made in Venus exploring, there are still gaps remain in our understanding of the surface, sub-surface features and processes as well as super rotation of the Venusians atmosphere; it’s an interaction and evolution with solar radiation and solar wind.
India making is new exploration one after another with giving all it has. ISRO is already made its own debut in the space long ago, and now it establishing its position as the space explorer. Right now ISRO is preparing to set it eyes on space experiment.
