Coloring book apps are all in the rage and become a matter of excitement for all drawing lovers. And in all that artistic commotion, how can the Disney leave behind? Now Disney’s getting in on the race too. The company has released its own take on the genre with the launch of the Color by Disney mobile app, and it lets people who want to be an artist practice their skills by coloring in templates featuring popular characters and scenes from Disney, Pixar and films too.
There are hundreds of designs to choose from and they also include more recent movies for example- Frozen, Moana, along with classical movies The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, they also add Pixar titles like Brave and Monsters, Inc at the launch.
It’s true that these sounds like something the little ones would like to do but that’s not the case in real, Color by Disney is being made just concentrating on the adult crowd and now the company touting on how these coloring apps can reduce the stress.
This also claims that in recent months it has already led all the App Store to fill with coloring applications containing apps like Recolor, Pigment, Colorfy, Heycolor, and dozens of others too.
Well, the Disney version isn’t all that different from the others app already on the market. To use the app and enjoy it you have to select your template and your pen type (pencil, crayon, marker, etc.) also your colors too, then you just need to do is tap away. The app have film-inspired color palettes and also offers a handful of effects, for example adding pixie dust to your creation such as your work can be shared on the social media, like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, as well as you can save it to your device. Disney also offers a subscription service, that delivers unlimited access to the Disney art collection and it will see new additions weekly. The packages, offered by in-app purchase, are- one-week all-access for $2.99, one-month all-access for $7.99 and a year all-access for $39.99.
