Did you never imagine what will happen to an object if it gets sucked into a black hole? And if we believe in the current theories it says that if you drop an object of iron into a black hole then there would be no way to regain any part of it again.
A black hole has so strong and much gravity that its escape velocity is faster than light and it being said that the light is the fastest thing there is.
