“Bhangarh fort” it’s a place that known for that known for one of the most hunted place of India. I don’t know you knew it or not before but now you will know these place is not only very popular in India but is well known all around the world (especially among ghost stories/places sucker). The rumor says that the Bhangarh fort is haunted and you absolutely can’t stay there at night according to people if you stay there at night…”you won’t be alive to see the sun next morning………….” Woooo…scary isn’t it….
But you won’t believe what kinds of talk local people and some people of India (who know more detail about fort then others) do about “BHANGARH FORT” if we think like them then Bhangarh fort is a whole town who contain the various haunted places in the fort itself. Ohhhh…. It’s remind me, I recently saw a video clip about those rumors and I have remembered some of those rumors…so, now i am going to share them with you-
- You can hear human voices in the empty corridor of fort.
- Invisible powerful being reside in jinnee’s temple.
- Former and dead Dancers of Bhangarh, dance every night in Dancer Haveli. And you can clearly hear the voice of bells.
- If you enter in the King’s basement then you are done for and won’t be alive to come out from that dungeon.
- Dead Kings still announce the order in court.
- Already dead people come to the village well for water every night.
Goddd…. If it have that many negative rumors in its account, and there may be more. Then people will already set up there mind before coming here or when they come here without trying to know whole truth.
Well,.. I didn’t go their yet but I am interested. And i think Bhangarh fort might be a haunted place I don’t believe all of those rumors can be true…. If it’s true then…”OH MY GOD THIS PLACE IS REALLY SCARY” I will be like this and wobble with fear when I go there, I think anyone would be like that if those are true.
Ahhh! But it’s true Bhangarh hiding so many secrets underneath it.
And if you’re looking for the source of the curse then there are stories in my knowledge about it… Well it’s a tragic story of “Beautiful Princess, Prosperous Kingdom and a Black Magician….”
the wizard who was adept in Black Magic fell in love with Ratnavati, the princess of Bhangarh who was very beautiful and had suitors to marry her from many royal families of the country. One day the princess, 18 years of age, went shopping with her friends and was buying Ittra (scent). The wizard saw this and replaced the scent with a love potion in order to ensnare the princess. He offered the potion to her so that she would take a liking to him and marry him. However, the princess saw through the wizard’s trickery, and when he offered her the bowl of potion, she threw it onto a big boulder nearby. As a result, the boulder started rolling down towards the wizard and crushed him. Before he died, he cursed that Bhangarh would be destroyed soon and no one would be able to live within its precincts. Subsequently, Bhangarh Fort was invaded by the Mughals from the north and the city was surrounded and sacked; 10,000 people lived in the fort city at that time. All the people in the fort, including the princess, were killed. The present state of the fort is attributed to the curse of the wizard and people believe the ghosts in the fort are that of the princess and the wizard.
